"We're so excited to drive for the next 13 hours!"Well, Heidi driving for the next 13 hours. But Dad took Will out for some driving lessons in Florida. He practiced a lot when we got back up the MD and is now shifting like a pro.
No major issues on the drive. We saw the aftermath of one homemade car-topper that came off of the car, hit the car behind that it was towing, and then exploded on the interstate. I would love to have hear the conversations going on in that car...
Eric and Dad on the sailboat. This was after we stepped the mast, then realized some of the lines were twisted, brought the mast back down to fix it, and then put it back up. Kinda nuts, but definitely worth it. There wasn't much wind (or any wind), but it was a really nice afternoon on the boat anyway.
Will's first time on the sailboat! There wasn't any actual sailing going on, but it was fun puttering around in the PI sound. Couple of beers, cheese and crackers, family, and taking in all of the warmth before going back up north.
Ringo loves Christmas too!
