Knit halloween costume!

The costume worked! The wooden mannequin hands arrived in time and the yarn shop even had a sale on the yarn I had in mind for the project (Karabella Aurora).

A few hours of knitting, some rigging and a few creative undergarments later, and we were ready to go for the halloween party!

Unfortunately the beau was not as keen on planning for the event. T-minus two hours and he was costumeless, much less a costume with a mask.

When faced with the options of public humiliation or the wrath of Heidi, he decided to opt for public humiliation. The only 'mask' he had around was a set of goggles. And thus, why he walked into the 50-degree night in an tiny blue speedo and a pair of flops (I spared the picture of that one). Better planning next year!
