Moving: the things you learn about yourself, your beau, and your new place

when it rains all of moving day, it's annoying for the first 4 hours, funny for the second 4 hours, and annoying again for those awesome 9-12th hours.

• Your hand and a mattress versus a brick wall, your hand will lose (skin, functionality)
• He can never flush too many times
• Hot means cold and cold means hot
• You shouldn't forget the box of shoes (or you'll be wearing kelly green sneakers to work all week)
• He will take things (like the toothpaste to work with him)
• The door will lock behind you (even if you don't have keys and your wallet is inside)
• You should have brought your own kitchen stuff (because now you're eating dinner out of a frying pan)
• He will leave behind stinky things (like gym clothes in the bathroom)
• A leatherman is required to make the dryer turn on

But our place is cute, quiet, close, and best of all, it's ours.
