Thanksgiving Part Deux

My dad is the master of surprises, always cooking up ways to catch my mom off guard and keep her guessing. This time Rich and I were the pawns in my dad's plan to surprise my mom for a late Thanksgiving and early birthday treat.

We arrived early Friday to a teary-eyed mom who thought she was going to the hardware store. Success once again.

We spent a long weekend sailing, biking, and walking around the island.


We also took a little trip to the Edison/Ford estate.


Much to my grumpiness, the tank top and short weather that we had packed for left the day before our arrival, hence me wearing the same sweater for all four days (and all pictures). I was still a happy camper to soak in all of the sun and palm trees.



And family time.
